Glass beads

Glass beads are one of the best-known blasting media with a very wide range of applications. The round glass beads are an iron-free blasting media which can be used as a reusable blasting media. They are particularly suitable for use in compressed air blasting systems in injector or pressure blasting technology.

  • Specific weight: approx 2,5 g/kcm
  • Hardness: 6 Mohs
  • Bulk density: depending on grain size 1,5 – 1,6 g/kcm
  • Grain size: 0 - 50µm, 40 - 70µm, 70 - 110µm, 90 - 150µm, 100 - 200µm,  150 - 250µm, 200 - 300µm, 300 - 400µm, 400 - 600µm, 600 - 800µm
  • Packaging: 25 kg sacks, 1000 kg per pallet
