  • What connection requirements do I need for the Envira Sponge blasting technology?

    You do not need a power connection, just a air compressor with a capacity of at least 5,5 m3. Both the blasting unit and the blasting media recycling unit are mobile due to the wheels and can be transported in a trailer or van.

  • How often can the Envira Sponge blasting media be used?

    The Envira Sponge blasting media can be recycled at least 6 times in the Regrader. However, it can often be used much longer.

  • Which blasting media is bonded sponge blasting media?

    We can fit any common abrasive in the sponge so that the surface results are achieved as usual, but with much less dust.

  • Can I rent the Envira Sponge machine?

    Yes, we rent out our Envira Sponge technology on a project-by-project basis and, of course, advise you on the choice of the right blasing media.

The Envira Sponge blasting process can be used to remove paint, coatings, roughen, gum, pre-treat or clean.

What is Envira Sponge & how does the technology and the blasting media work?

Envira Sponge is a specially developed blasting media based on PU, a kind of sponge with which the blasting process is carried out. Any known blasting media can be inserted into the sponge.
 
Function
The sponge hits the surface to be blasted during the blasting process. The impact causes the integrated blasting media to emerge and unfold its blasting effect. After the impact, the sponge returns to its original shape within seconds and falls to the ground. A resulting vacuum includes a large part of the removed contamination as well as the actual blasting media.
 
Result
They can radiate with low dust generation and good visibility. The desired surface finish, as has been the case with outside blasting up to now, is of course also achieved with the use of Envira Sponge. 
 
Machine engineering
To use our Envira Sponge blasting media, you need our special equipment technology, the mobile Sponge Blaster and the recycling unit, the Regrader.
