3D-Printed Workpiece
This is what our bottle opener should look like after it has been 3D printed.
Description

3D-Printed Workpiece
To process this bottle opener, we chose our High-Speed Centrifuge Systems.
First it was grinder and after polished.

Description

How can the mirror shine be achieved?
Polished with walnut shells and different compounds. To achieve a high gloss, multiple polishing steps in a High-Speed Centrifugal Machine are required. Depending on the desired result and surface condition, this may require between three and five cycles to reach the high gloss finish.

Titanium Workpiece
Task: Remove milling stripes and polish
Description

Processing of Titanium Workpiece
We worked on the titanium workpiece in two 60 minute cycles. First, the workpiece was grinned and milling stripes were removed. The second cycle involved polishing. The process took place in one of our High-Speed Centrifugal System, using a combination of wet and dry process.

Satin Finish
Workpieces after processing
Before
Satin Finish
Task: a matte shine should be created
Description
Satin Finish
Processing was done in using a dry process in a Round trough vibratory machine with special nugget-shaped media. The special feature of this media is its matte surface with a beautiful, satin-like shine. Processing can also be carried out in High-Speed Centrifuge Systems.

Burrs are clearly visible
Description
Deburring of Rings with a Thickness of 2 mm
Depending on the material thickness, alloy and workpiece size, different grinding media were used, which differed in shape and properties.

Electronics: Deburring Copper Components
Deburring copper components is possible with ceramic media and our High-Speed Centrifugal System. One cycle takes 15–30 minutes.

Polishing very High-Quality Temples
As with brass instruments, high-quality designer eyeglass temples can be finely grinned and polished to high gloss in 2-3 steps.

Medical technology: components from highly sensitive areas
Our High-Speed Centrifugal Systems and our specially manufactured grinding media are also suitable for these applications. The grinding media and systems have been specifically concerted for this application.

Rolling bearings/ball bearings/valves
Surface roughnesses of less than 0.3µm can be achieved.

Polishing of zinc-coated components
Used in medical technology, components can be polished with a wafer-thin layer of zinc to protect them from bacteria.

Food industry
Our grinding media are also in this sector. Their high grinding performance produces a homogeneous, smooth surface. Large and small components can be reduced from milling stripes and prepared for electroplating.
